ABOUT ME
Experience, Design & Product Executive


Over the past 13 years I have applied dynamic, creative vision and leadership to challenges and problems facing some of the worlds most recognized brands. I have been a stakeholder and executive leader on both the brand and agency sides, B2B, B2B2B and the B2C, which has provided me with a unique perspective on what it takes to bring big ideas to life, how to ensure those big ideas generate a real and measurable return on investment, and how to communicate that value broadly to ensure that the impact and successes of the teams involved are recognized.

The application and product design/development programs that I've initiated and overseen within my teams have resulted in millions of dollars of cost savings at the enterprise level as a result of human-cost reduction, increased speed-to-market, increased design and development throughput and the elevation of the core value proposition that an organization is able to offer to its clients.

My approach toward management and mentoring is to demonstrate impact through value, not volume. I have overseen, built out and led multi-functional design, development and marketing support teams. In each of these groups I have brought groundbreaking disruption to the creative processes and outcomes. Some of that work can be seen here.

I have been a stakeholder in complex corporate rebrands, organizational planning, alignment and strategic restructuring during the merger & acquisition processes (x5). while providing leadership and guidance to facilitate the integration and mergers of functional departments both local and remote. Additionally, I have directly led programs overhauling complex corporate websites, conducted CMS evaluations and migrations, defined procedural enhancements across marketing groups and restructured multi-dimensional corporate product taxonomies.

My passion is building out, leading and managing multi-disciplinary groups, ultimately developing recognized centers of excellence at the enterprise level. Some of these groups have been Front-end Engineering, Digital Production, User Experience, Design, Front-end Marketing Web Development and Creative Operations Management.

I have had the opportunity to partner with clients across a wide array of verticals: retail, eCom, telecommunications, marketing/advertising, healthcare, education/e-learning, financial, pharmaceutical, travel and quick-serve/restaurants.

Studies

I hold a Master of Arts degree from the Cambridge School of Art at Anglia Ruskin University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Emily Carr University of Art and Design.
